We have another great line up this year. Lisa Taranto, one the city’s foremost urban environmentalists, teaches the first class Gardening 101. David Stover of the East End Bee Keepers Association will teach beekeeping. Tricycle Gardens has lent us Danny Finney March 16th to teach about worms. Dominic Barrett of Shalom Farms and John Lewis of Reid Elementary & greenhouse are also guest lecturers. March 9th is a hands on learning class at the Roots of Woodville Community Garden in the East End. Ana Edwards from William Byrd Community House will be there again to show us how to cook what we grow. Chickens, composting, canning, container gardening.
