The City of Richmond invites the public to historic Shockoe Bottom on Friday December 4, for the 10th annual Main Street Station Holiday Open House. Come enjoy the season as this free event celebrates the holidays and the restored glory of Main Street Station.
This year’s event includes special guests Richmond Tuba Christmas who will perform from 6 to 7 p.m. and the James River Ringers bell choir performing from 7 to 9 p.m. The event will also include entertainment for the entire family such as Hundley Carriage Rides, a special showing of the Polar Express on a large 40’ movie screen in the Plaza Lot, the Doctors of Jazz, and of course, Santa Claus. There will also be food trucks onsite or enjoy one of the many restaurants in the area.
This free event will have a pre-concert at 2 p.m. and a full evening of activities to include the illumination of Main Street Station and open house beginning at 6 p.m. Main Street Station is located at 1500 East Main Street. For more information call (804) 929-8165.
