As a result of Hurricane Sandy, city of Richmond government offices will operate under a liberal leave policy on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. All essential personnel should report to their respective work areas at their regular time or consult their immediate supervisor if they have scheduling questions. Non-essential employees should contact their immediate supervisor to request leave under the liberal leave policy.
Richmond Public Schools will be closed on Monday. City recreation centers and libraries will also be closed.
The City’s 3-1-1 Call Center will remain open and staffed to receive calls 24-hours a day until the storm passes. City of Richmond residents may call either 3-1-1 or (804) 646-7000 to report non life-threatening emergencies and to report downed tress.
