The City of Richmond invites all residents to the 11th annual Imagine Festival. This year’s festival will again be held at the Broad Rock Sports Complex, 4802 Warwick Road, from noon to 5:30 p.m. This year’s festival will feature many great performances, cultural foods, exhibits, arts & crafts, and fun activities for the entire family. Approximately 15 local community groups will perform throughout the day and approximately 40 area organizations will be providing information about their services, to include free health screenings through the Una Vida Sana program, screenings through the Richmond City Health District, and a variety of sports, such as soccer and softball. Admission to this community and family event is free.

“The Imagine Festival celebrates Richmond’s cultural diversity by encouraging residents to share and experience various cultures together. I am extremely pleased that we have been able to continue the Imagine Festival in Richmond for the eleventh consecutive year. I hope families throughout the Richmond area will come and enjoy this year’s event, meet their neighbors, and learn about our diverse cultures,” said Mayor Dwight C. Jones.

Since the festival began in 2005, the City has sponsored the event, which has grown larger each year. This year’s partners and sponsors include the Enrichmond Foundation, Virginia Housing Development Authority, Telemundo Richmond, BB & T, Bill Conley – State Farm Agency, Capital Area Health Network, HASA, and many other community groups and organizations.
