Dominion is offering a $90 rebate to help pay for a heat pump maintenance tune-up and up to $250 for replacing a system with one that is more energy-efficient.
“A properly maintained, energy-efficient heating and cooling system uses less electricity to keep a home comfortable and can help customers save on their energy bills,” said Ken Barker, vice president, customer services and energy conservation. “Saving energy is good for our customers and good for the environment.”
The rebate programs are open to residential customers living in single-family residences, townhomes, and multi-family (apartments and condos) dwellings with electric heating and cooling with a heat pump. Details are available at Dominion’s website, www.dom.com/savenowVA.
The process is simple and easy to follow. It begins with contacting a local participating contractor. A complete list of participating contractors can be found using the contractor search tool at www.dom.com/contractorsearch
When the work is finished, the customer submits the completed rebate form and receives a confirmation email the day the information is entered into the rebate processing system.
