~City seeks loving parents for foster children with monthly orientation ~
The City’s Department of Social Services will host a Foster Parent Orientation on Tuesday, September 25, at 6 p.m. in the department’s Marshall Street Plaza offices, 900 East Marshall Street. The orientation will detail what it takes to become a foster parent. Those interested in attending should call (804) 646-KIDS. Light refreshments will be served.
There are children in the Richmond community that need help now and the Department of Social Services is looking for foster parents to provide loving and nurturing homes. Foster parents are also needed to offer recreational and enrichment activities that promote healthy development and to support the everyday ups and downs that all children experience.
For more information on the city of Richmond’s monthly Foster Parent Orientation please call (804) 646-KIDS or email asksocialservices@richmondgov.com.
