VirginiaP2 Releases Eighth and Final Round of Candidate Videos

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) October 29, 2013

The Virginia Prosperity Project (VirginiaP2), a respected source for informing voters in Virginia, released the eighth and final round of candidate questionnaire videos today. The videos feature Ken Cuccinelli, Terry McAuliffe, Robert Sarvis, E.W. Jackson and Ralph Northam discussing the major sectors of Virginia’s economy.

Key takeaways from the videos include:

Ken Cuccinelli – "I’ll continue as Gov to fight federal overreach that invades the agriculture and forestry ability…to do business."

Terry McAuliffe – "As Governor my primary responsibility to Agriculture and forestry is to help open markets on a global basis."

Robert Sarvis – "I trust the VA farmers, not the state or federal government, to decide how best to run their lives and their business."

“As we head into the final week of the campaign we wanted Virginia voters to hear from the candidates on how they plan to support the major sectors of Virginia’s economy such as tourism, agriculture and forestry,” said Ryan Dunn, executive director of VirginiaP2.

“Virginia is also among the top states for federal contractors and our economy continues to be among the hardest hit by federal spending cuts. Voters need to know how the candidates plan to protect and grow federal investment in the Commonwealth,” Dunn concluded.

VirginiaP2’s candidate questionnaire videos focus on eight specific topics ranging from healthcare, workforce, business climate, taxation, and Virginia’s regulatory system. Comparing and contrasting the candidates on the issues that matter most to the public and employers and employees.

The Virginia Prosperity Project (VA P2) is a nonpartisan, issue education and election information clearing house used by thousands of Virginia voters to help them play a more active and informed role in government and the political process. The Prosperity Project does not endorse candidates and does not tell voters how to vote.
