What pairs better than Beer & BBQ!? Join Enrichmond for the 5th Annual RVA BrewBQ Festival on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the 17th Street Farmers’ Market, from noon – 5 p.m.
The 5th Annual Beer + BBQ festival will focus on all things BBQ! 20 of the area’s best-known BBQ joints will be onsite with your smoked and grilled eats. Come ready to enjoy your favorite BBQ classics – ribs, brisket, wings, pulled sandwiched and served with coleslaw.
RVA BBQ fans can enjoy city traditions like Buz & Ned’s and Alamo; welcome Saucy’s, Smok-N-Pigz and Inner City Blues; visit Shockoe’s very own The Halligan Bar & Grill and C’est Le Vin; and check interesting BBQ spins at vendors like RVA Foodies. There is also something for our vegetarian friends, served by Thai Top Ten and The Cultured Swine.
The event will partner with Brown Distributing again this year to feature Brewery Row, which will host 18 local breweries including Ardent, Devil’s Backbone, Hardywoood, Isley, Legend’s, Strangeways, Triple Crossing and many more of Richmond’s best breweries. New this year are Kindred Spirits and Steam Bell.
Set your clocks! There will be. timed tastings in this year’s Beer Lounge, a cool new tasting space for those Brew Lovers who want an exclusive experience.
There is a suggested donation of $1 for each festival attendee. Food and beverage is available for purchase, so come hungry! Beer tickets can be purchases with cash or credit, but it is recommend having cash on-hand for food vendors.
Ample parking is available. There are several parking lots in the vicinity – free and paid.
All proceeds from this event will support Enrichmond Foundation. The Enrichmond Foundation is an umbrella non-profit that serves over 130 parks and recreation partner groups in the City of Richmond. Enrichmond’s mission is to serve the people, parks and public spaces of Richmond.
