City Government 2018/2019 Winter Holiday Schedule
City government offices, including City Hall, will be closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25 for the winter holiday. City offices will reopen at regular business hours on Wednesday, December 26. City government offices are also closed on Monday, December 31 and Tuesday, January 1, City offices will reopen at regular business hours on Wednesday, January 2.
Richmond Public Libraries will also be closed Monday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 25. Libraries will reopen at regular business hours on Wednesday, December 26. Broad Rock Library will be closed on Sunday, December 23 and December 30. All libraries will be closed December 31 – January 1, and will reopen January 2.

Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) will be closed December 24 – 25, December 31 and January 1.
The Department of Public Works solid waste residential collection will run as normal on Monday, December 24 and will be closed Tuesday, December 25. Refuse collection will be delayed one day, and will occur Wednesday, December 26 – Friday, December 28. Refuse collection will operate as normal on Monday, December 31, and close January 1. Refuse collection will be delayed one-day, and collection will occur Wednesday, January 2 – Friday, January 4.
The East Richmond Road Convenience Center (ERRCC) will be closed December 24 – 25. ERRCC will reopen on December 26. ERRCC will also be closed December 31 and January 1, reopening January 2.
The Hopkins Road Transfer Station will be closed on December 25 and January 1.
