Official Order Calling for Democratic and Republican Presidential Primary Elections:
COMMONWEALTH of VIRGINIA
To the Secretary of the Electoral Board:
WHEREAS a notice in proper form has been received from the appropriate authority requesting the calling of a Primary Election for the purpose of selecting delegates to the national convention for the Republican and Democratic Parties for the office of President of the United States. Should only one candidate qualify for the primary ballot for the office, no primary will be held.
THEREFORE, you are, in the name of the Commonwealth and pursuant to § 24.2-517 of the Code of Virginia, ordered to cause a Primary Election to be held in your locality on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, for the purpose aforesaid. You are further ordered to post a copy of this order on the official website of the county or city, at not less than 10 public places in the county or city, or have the order published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in your locality.

XÉT RẰNG, cơ quan thích hợp đã gửi đi một thông báo thích hợp để yêu cầu tổ chức một cuộc bầu cử sơ bộ nhằm chọn đại biểu tham dự đại hội toàn quốc các đảng Cộng hòa và Dân chủ cho chức vụ Tổng thống Hoa Kỳ. Nếu chỉ có một ứng cử viên đủ điều kiện cho lá phiếu sơ bộ cho chức vụ này, sẽ không tổ chức bầu cử sơ bộ.
DO ĐÓ, nhân danh Tiểu bang và theo đoạn § 24.2-517 của Bộ luật Virginia, quý vị được lệnh tổ chức Cuộc Bầu Cử Sơ Bộ tại địa phương vào thứ Ba, ngày 5 tháng 3 năm 2024, cho mục đích nói trên. Quý vị cũng được yêu cầu đăng bản sao của lệnh này trên trang web chính thức của quận hoặc thành phố, công bố tại ít nhất 10 địa điểm công cộng trong quận hoặc thành phố, hoặc đăng lệnh này ít nhất một lần trên một tờ báo lưu hành rộng rãi tại địa phương.
