~ Cold Weather Day Warming Site Open April 3 – 4 ~

The Richmond Police Department will be hosting a Community Walk in the Randolph neighborhood on Tuesday, April 5 at 5:30 p.m. Residents are asked to meet at S. Lombardy & Kemper streets.

Randolph, just blocks away from Virginia Commonwealth University’s campus, is a diverse neighborhood consisting of lifelong residents to college students and young families. As Richmond shifts to the warmer months, Richmond Police want to keep an open dialogue with residents about the risks associated with unlocked doors and windows. The mission of this walk is to build awareness in the community in an effort to reduce theft from motor vehicles and larcenies in the area.
